Welcome!

Wanda Fox is a devoted mother, wife, advocate and perennial student of life. She grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, attending schools in the the same public school system that now educates her own children. Maintaining close ties to home, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a wonderful institution of higher learning where she continues to seek and find food for thought.

After graduating from UNC, Wanda worked as Lifestyles Editor at a provincial newspaper before returning to academics as a graduate student in the Department of English at NC State University. Ever the romantic, her attention was soon diverted to her future husband, Michael Fox, who grew up just a few miles away from her. Sharing similar impressions of the past and a vision for the future, they married and started a family. During this time, Wanda held jobs in advertising and public relations, and eventually retired her career-wear to start a freelance writing and consulting business, specializing in pharmaceutical copy writing.

Wanda lives in Raleigh with her husband and three children. She dedicates much of her time and talent to caring for her son, who suffers from a rare neurological condition called NBIA, and she is passionate about the advancement of medical research and advocacy for this disease. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, running, reading, writing and day-dreaming. She is currently working toward a Graduate Certificate in Communications and Technology at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and planning a long-awaited trip with her husband to London and Paris.
